By car

At the heart of Bordeaux, the student residence hall is quite easily accessible by car, located close to the city's main ring roads.

To the north: via Boulevard Maréchal Leclerc, which connects up with Bld Antoine Gautier, to the north of the city, to the A10 motorway in the direction of Paris;

To the east: via Boulevard George V to Bld Albert 1er, via Bld Président Franklin Roosevelt; then the A89 / E70 motorway network in the direction of Lyon;

 To the south: via Boulevard George V to Route de Toulouse, via Bld Président Franklin Roosevelt; then the A62 / E72 motorway network;

To the west: via Place Campeyrautn then the avenues that run parallel to the tram line, to Avenue François Mitterrand in the direction of Cap Ferret and the famous Arcachon Bay area.

By train

From Saint-Jean station

 Tramway Line C: change at Porte de Bourgogne, then get off at Stade Chaban Delmas (Line A)

 Bus Lianes 9: get off at Xaintrailles (disabled access)


From Mérignac-Arlac station (TER Aquitaine / SNCF)

Tramway Line A: from Peychotte, get off at Stade Chaban Delmas


From Caudéran-Mérignac station (TER Aquitaine / SNCF)

Bus Citéis Line 42: from Lycée Daguin, change at Lycées de Merignac (Tramway Line A), then get off at Stade Chaban Delmas.

By plane

From Bordeaux Merignac airport, to the west of Bordeaux, there are a number of options available for travelling to your residence hall (journey time of around one hour).


Shuttle and bus services

 The Jet’Bus shuttle service, located at Gate 11, will take you directly to St-Jean station, from where you can catch the Lianes 9 or Lianes 11 bus services, getting off at Xaintrailles and Campeyraut respectively.

Lianes bus line 1 links up with Tramway A at Lycées de Mérignac station, your stop is Stade Chaban Delmas.


Taxi and specialized transport
