Rules for the referral scheme 

YouFirst Campus 2024

Article 1 – Organiser

YouFirst Campus, a société en nom collectif (French general partnership) with a capital of €260,000.00, registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Paris under number 501 705 909, with a registered office located at 16 rue des Capucines, 2ème Paris, France, is running a referral scheme.

Article 2 – Definitions

This offer applies to the entire YouFirst Campus portfolio, for all types of accommodation.

Referrer(s)” means any natural person who meets all of the following conditions:

  • A person who is of legal age and domiciled in mainland France.
  • A tenant of a YouFirst Campus housing unit with a current rental contract and is up to date on payments of rent and services at the time of the referral scheme, and thereby excluding tenants in arrears and occupants without legal claim or authority.

 

Referred Party(ies)” means any natural person who meets all of the following conditions:

  • A person who is of legal age and domiciled in mainland France.
  • A student or a person under the age of thirty (30) who is in training or undertaking internship and/or holds a professional training or apprenticeship contract or a young professional
  • A person was not previously a YouFirst Campus tenant prior to signing a lease within one of the above-mentioned Residences.

 

Referrer’s Discount” 100 per new customer sponsored. This grant is in the form of a rent reduction granted by the landlord to the Sponsor, due on the date of signature of the inventory of fixtures for the entry of the Sponsored customer concerned, and to be deducted from the invoice for the month following this inventory date.

In the event that the Referred Party’s arrival inventory is signed after the Referrer’s departure from the YouFirst Campus housing unit previously occupied by the Referrer, the Referrer will not be eligible for this referral offer and will not be entitled to the Referrer’s Discount or any other financial reward. 

Referred Party’s Discount” 100 in the form of a rent reduction granted by the landlord to the Sponsored, applicable only to the first month's rent from the date of the initial inventory.

Article 3 – Object of the referral scheme and terms and conditions of participation

The YouFirst Campus referral scheme is intended for YouFirst Campus tenants and aims to reward tenants when they recommend YouFirst Campus Residences to people they know.

The referral scheme involves a YouFirst Campus Residence tenant introducing at least one Referred Party (to the extent specified in Article 5) to YouFirst Campus with a view to signing a lease with YouFirst Campus for one of the Residences listed in Article 2.

In order to participate, the Referred Party must enter the promotional code PARRAIN24 and the Referrer’s email address on the tenant info form when submitting an application online on the website https://campus.youfirst.co/enIf the Referred Party fails to do so, the Referrer or the Referred Party will not be considered as having participated in this referral scheme, and no discount will be granted.

YouFirst Campus may check that the Referrer is a tenant of a YouFirst Campus Residence and is up to date with rental payments in order to confirm the Referrer’s eligibility for the referral scheme.

Once the Referrer’s eligibility has been confirmed, the Referrer and the Referred Party will only qualify for their respective discounts if the rental contract signed by the Referred Party has an effective date, which corresponds to the date of signature of the arrival inventory, between october 30, 2024 and december 31, 2024. The terms and conditions for payment of the Referrer’s Discount and the Referred Party’s Discount are set out in Article 2.

Article 4 – Term of the referral scheme

From October 30, 2024 , to December 31, 2024.

Article 5 – Limits

The number of referrals is limited to a maximum of five (5) Referred Parties per Referrer for the term of the YouFirst Campus referral scheme as set out herein. This offer may not be used in conjunction with other current offers.

Article 6 – Conditions of withdrawal

The organising company reserves the right to shorten, suspend, extend, modify or cancel the referral scheme for any reason whatsoever. The organising company will not be held liable in any way for such action.

The organising company reserves the right to refuse any referral that does not comply with all the terms and conditions of these rules.

Article 7 – Personal data

The personal data relating to Referrers and Referred Parties collected for the sole purpose of the referral scheme is processed by YouFirst Campus, the data controller, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR) and Loi n°78-17 du 6 janvier 1978 relative à l’informatique, aux fichiers et aux libertés, modifiée (French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and civil liberties, as amended).

For the purposes of the scheme, only the forenames, surnames and postal and electronic addresses (hereinafter “Personal Data”) of Referrers and Referred Parties will be collected.

The collection of this data is based on the consent of Referrers and Referred Parties.

Referrers and Referred Parties are hereby notified that their Personal Data, collected as part of this scheme, is required in order to record their involvement in the referral scheme and to deliver the rewards. If the absence of consent, the organising company will be unable to process any applications or the processing of applications will be delayed. Any information or contact details that are incomplete, erroneous, false, impersonating a third party or fictitious provided by a Referred Party, or where applicable by a Referrer, will be deemed null and void and contrary to the terms and conditions of participation in the scheme.

If the Personal Data is disclosed by the Referred Party or the Referrer on behalf of the other party, each party will have the same rights. The party disclosing the information acknowledges that it has the consent of the other party, and has notified said other party of these rules and of the rights with regard to Personal Data.

Only the organising company, its internal departments and any possible subcontractors involved in any actions relating to the referral scheme will receive the Personal Data.

Personal Data will not be transferred outside the European Union.

The data collected by YouFirst Campus for this scheme will be held for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of submission of an application by a Referred Party.

At the end of this period, the data will be erased or anonymised, unless the data controller can demonstrate an obligation under EU law and/or the law of a Member State to which it is subject, and in particular if the data is no longer necessary for the performance of a contract, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation or for the proof of a right and/or there is no longer a legitimate interest in storing the data.

In accordance with data protection regulations and to the extent required by law, Referred Parties and Referrers have a right of access, a right to rectification, a right to erasure, a right to data portability and a right to restrict processing of their data. They also have the right to object to the processing of their data and the right to withdraw their consent at any time. Lastly, they have the right to issue specific or general guidelines on how their data is processed following their death.

In order to exercise their rights, they can send a request by email to protectiondesdonnees@gecina.fr or by post to Data Protection Officer (DPO), GECINA, 16 rue des Capucines, 75084 Paris Cedex 02, France.

If they have any further questions after contacting the DPO, Referred Parties and Referrers can file a claim with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (the French commission for information technology and civil liberties).

Article 8 – Consulting the rules

These rules are available free of charge on request or can be found campus.youfirst.co/en/footer/referral-scheme

Participation in the referral scheme implies full acceptance of these rules in their entirety. If one or more conditions of these rules are declared null or inapplicable, the other provisions of the rules would continue to apply.

Article 9 – Applicable law and jurisdiction

The referral scheme and these rules are governed by and interpreted in accordance with French law. Any disputes in connection therewith will be submitted to the competent court of the Paris Court of Appeal.
