The check-in inventory visit provides a description of the condition of the rented student residence and its rooms, fixtures and fittings. The inventory visit will take place with your YouFirst Manager before you move in, and then when you move out of the accommodation and hand over the keys.
Before you arrive, we’d suggest that you make an appointment with your YouFirst Manager during your residence’s reception opening hours. Try to plan it in advance so you can arrange a time that suits you. The inventory visit will take between 30 and 45 minutes. After the visit, you will receive a copy of the inventory report by email. Keep it safe, as it has contractual value.
Please also remember to provide your YouFirst Manager with your mandatory insurance certificate no later than the date of the inventory visit. If you don’t, we will not be able to give you the keys to your apartment.
